Taking the West Coast Wilderness Trail off-road

Stage 1 of the Kaniere off-road section of the West Coast Wilderness Cycle Trail is open and is a great addition to the already popular cycle trail. Taking riders from Hau Hau Road and running alongside Lake Kaniere Road for just over 2.5km, the track takes riders through beautiful native bush and back to the on-road section on Lake Kaniere Road.
This part of the trail is a great enhancement to an already popular cycle trail that continues to rank highly among tourists and help to boost the West Coast economy. Find out more in our media release.
