Library Talk! Mother Languages

International Mother Language Day was celebrated in February with another successful Library Talk. A crowd of about 25 people gathered to hear community members discuss what their mother tongue means to them and how it shapes their world view. Listeners heard from speakers of English, Afrikaans, Hindi, Te Reo, and German.

Thank you to all who spoke and shared their insights, and to all who attended the evening.
