Café Books

Our weekly book group is back up and running, Saturday 10.30-11.30am and there are lots of new books to preview!

Temporary Opening Hours:

Monday – Friday 10.00am-12.00pm and 2.00pm – 4.00pm

Saturday 10.00am – 12.00pm

Contract tracing, hygiene measures and social distancing requirements are still in place.

The library is open for book exchanges, APNK computers, printing and scanning services.  If the above opening times don’t suit you, our ‘Click or Call and Collect’ service is available or try our Digital Library services, available 24/7.

Book-A-Librarian

Free 30 minute appointments with a member of the library team to help you get started with your smart phone, tablet or chromebook or to learn basic digital skills. Call us on 03 7556208 to book an appointment and discuss what you would like to learn.

Skinny Jump

Library staff are continuing to help Westland residents access the internet with Skinny Jump, a subsidized service offered through a partnership between the Spark Foundation, Digital Inclusion Alliance Aotearoa and Public Libraries.  It is a low-cost prepaid broadband service for eligible homes, offering a free modem, 30GB of broadband for $5, no contracts, no credit checks, no need for a phone line.  If you would like to find out if you are eligible, call us on 03 7556208.
