Councillors District Tour

Somewhat delayed by Covid-19, as the final part of their induction, Councillors and relevant staff spent three days at the beginning of November touring the district. Stops included most major infrastructure works and opportunities for the community to meet-and-greet with Councillors.

This trip was a chance for Councillors to understand the infrastructure around the district and the challenges facing communities to ensure resilience for future needs. With this knowledge Council will be able to draft a robust Long Term Plan that will support communities into the future.
