Civil Defence Emergency Containers arrive in Haast

Members of the community, Mayor Bruce Smith and Westland District staff visited the newly installed Haast Civil Defence Emergency container to see the possibilities for this community resource. The equipment that will be stored in the container will allow the community to support itself in the event of a major emergency.
