Sport NZ Rural Travel Funding
Congratulations to Westland Sports Teams who will receive funding through the Sport NZ Rural Travel fund to assist their junior teams to travel to their sports competitions. Nine sports teams from around the district have been successful in their applications this year:

- Seido Hokitika Karate
- Wests RFC
- Hokitika Hockey Club
- Special Olympics West Coast
- Westland Basketball Association
- Hokitika Amateur Swim Club
- Westland United Football Club
